LOL....our prelit tree only lasted maybe 3 years. A couple years back my husband and I set it up, plugged it in and the entire middle of the tree didn't light up. Determination is my husband's middle name so he began checking every single light for 2 DAYS! On day TWO I ran to the store and came home to find him with wire cutters and a pile of lights. Being married for 27 years I just turned around and went back to Target to purchase all new lights. Prelit no more
