As for goop - if he does have allergies, eyes can be more irritated. Could also be due sometimes to the food they're eating - so if there are no allergies, you may want to try switching to a different kind of food. What are you feeding now? If you want to switch, I'd choose a different protein source and carb source to see if there is a difference.

Thank you! We feed Taste of the Wild, Southwest Canyon w/ Wild Boar --- he's been on a grain free food for awhile (used to eat NutriSource) but we switched in July to Taste of the Wild because we got another dog(english mastiff) who is allergic to chicken so we just feed them both the same thing. He does lick his paws sometimes, but he mainly licks things like blankets or my clothes.
