These guys are such creatures of habit. Mine always know when I am getting ready to go out. My Pom now waits for me by her room door. My Yorkie sits by his door. They each get gated in a separate area. They know they are going to get a treat before I leave. All it takes is a couple pieces of kibble. I also use 3 sections of an x-pen in a u shape for the front door so they have to stay back when company comes to the door. |
