Yes, I think Nutracal is a good suggestion. Remember yorkies need to keep their blood sugar active. This is a great opportunity for you to show your dog the routine in the car. Always safely crated, not out and about. Calming conversation and peaceful music as all these things in a car can seriously affect how your dog will behave in the vehicle in the future. I have a little electric pad that plugs into the car adapter and keeps the floor of the kennel nice and warm, not hot. Good luck and enjoy your new family member
