I wasn't sure, I have heard a few people say before the only way to get and bond with a pup is to get them like at 6 weeks. I don't know what this person thinks but it was sounding to me like she meant you should get them young. She said she got hers at 4 months and she missed all those puppy days so that it what it sounded like to me.
