Our previous yorkie (who was house trained when we got her) used them all the time when needed. Our new dog doesn't seem to be attracted to them and goes any where in the house except on the pads. Soon the snow will be piling up here in Buffalo, and we're looking for advice on how to train our girl to use training pads.

xpen, pads on one side. Go to pet smart and get the Potty Training Aid, its a bottle of the stinkiest stuff on the face of the earth...put a couple drops on pad...only a couple...

When you are home keep her tethered to you with a loose leash, as soon as you know she has to go take her to pads and say "go potty" over and over, keep putting her on them, when she goes make sure you give a treat and cooooooo loudyly "good girl"! If you can keep on this for a couple weeks you will be ok.
