I tell my 10 year old daughter to brush her hair every morning... its a fight! and then I have to get on her to brush it before bed.... its just past her shoulders... if she skips a brushing she pays for it the next day with tangles that hurt soooo bad! Not matts, but the start of what could be!

I do the same with Pixie! I brush every inch of her in the morning and then right before bed. I keep a pin brush on the arm of the sofa, and its our 3 minutes of fluff, it really is that quick. and sometimes faster than that. I have rushed and skipped it, and like my poor Katelyn, Pixie pays for it later....

Its just like you brushing your hair or teeth.... You do it every day.... I hope. So should they. They don't shed, they have HAIR like us. It needs to be taken care of like ours.

A good detangler and some extra love will get you outta hot water and good habits will keep you both happy.
