Besides, your puppy will be close to 5 pounds adult size, maybe. If you're looking for a teacup, that's definitely not one. I'm not understanding why a breeder would advertise a 5 pound puppy as a teacup...probably a BYB or puppy mill trying to make a quick buck.

First off, teacups do not exist. They are merely runts of the litter that are bred over and over to produce tiny tiny puppies that are covered with health issues. Teacups are at least 2x more prone to hypoglycemia. Many of these puppies often experience hypoglycemic issues and that's a real problem.

Secondly, no good breeder uses the word "teacup". Only Backyard Breeders and Puppy Mills do. I advise you to run, not walk away from whatever breeder you are looking at now.
