I just recently read that pups are susceptible to becoming hypoglycemic. I had no idea. I should have purchased a pup closer to home but I had recently (Oct 1) lost my rescued Yorkie due to cancer and I saw a picture of this pup's mom and she looked just like Sassy so I had to have a pup. I leave on Nov 4, 2014 so I am urgently seeking advice. Thanks |
Don't stop at common places like rest stops or parks to let your pup use the bathroom--see if you can pull over (but this might be kind of dangerous) or take an exit and try to find a good place. The reason for this is if your pup is under 16 weeks old, he/she is still unvaccinated and could catch any diseases (giardia, coccidia, parvo) from frequently dog-visited areas. Either that, or you could use puppy pads.
By what Wylie's Mom meant by snoozer seats are seats like these:
Snoozer Lookout 1 Dog Car Seat | 3 Sizes | 6+ Colors
However, try to get the harnesses/leashes that you can attach to the seatbelt. It would be disastrous and unsafe for you, the driver, if your little one was loose in the car!!!
NutriCal is a NECESSITY!!
