Thank you all for your replies. She did seem very down during her heat cycle. My vets advice is to starve her out. To keep giving her water and sugar if she refuses to eat her kibble so she doesnt get hypoglycemia, but just to leave her kibble out until she eats it. Its been 3 days and she has started eating some kibble. I did get worried yesterday and soaked it for her so she ate a bit more. I also took in a yorkie that was left at the pet shop. She was abused and im trying to help rehabilitate her. It seems like now that she is at home too, iris senses the competition and eats kibble so sara wont eat it all. Im hoping things will get better in time.
