I LOVE the look, I prefer a very short cut, I love to mush my boy up and not be concerned about getting his hair knotted up. I keep him in a puppy cut with fringes on his BIGGGG beautiful ears, also keep his face as full as possible without his looking out of place with a short cut. He loves to dig under big boulders in the back yard, he swears there is a little chipmunk lurking under these boulders lol. He gets really dirty and baths are so much easier with the short cut. This Spring I got him several T-shirts so he can wear them indoors for the winter if he gets cold from the short cut. He is toooo wild to have a flowing coat, also he does not have straight hair, I guess his hair is what is refereed to as a Cotton Coat. I love all yorkies in puppy cuts, I think they are sooo cute. I also love the beautiful long flowing coats, makes them look so regal and dainty. It's your preference, what's easy for you to maintain, and what look you like. Good luck in your dissension.
