I tried it at Whole Foods tonight, it is pretty awesome.
I do Product Management for Financial Products and one of my products is the Debit Networks (like NYCE and Star). I have been managing updates to these products without ever using Apple Pay...well my Boss found a week ago and kind of gave me some grief over not updating.
Apple Pay is suppose to be very secure, I can tell you that your actual credit card number is not stored on the phone, what happens is your number is assigned a token. Each store you use it at has a unique token that is unique to your phone, the token cannot be used on anything else other than your phone at the store in which its assigned.
