Our family celebrates Halloween as a weekend event at a campground and it is always a bit earlier than 'real' Halloween, so admittedly we spent last night doing a holiday photo shoot with some props I had picked up in anticipation for the event- we had way too much fun and gulp- I already ordered our cards! I can't help it I'm just so excited!
Christmas time is so fun and warm and precious with so much history and storytelling and craft and tradition- I feel like there is never enough time to do all the things I want to do working up to it. And then, it's over just like that. So it seems like all the magic and wonder and joy must be stirred up early so it has time to swirl and permeate the air before it comes to a end.
