Ask your vet about giving an appetite stimulant. There are two : Mirtazapine is commonly used. I cannot think of the other one offhand but your vet should know. I could look it up if you try Mirtazapine and it does not work.
Pancreatitis can be deadly. Keep a very close eye on him. While it is best to be hospitalized, you could also ask about getting subcutaneous fluids. ANY change in his condition needs immediate vet care.
