Muffin got spayed a couple of months ago. I started to notice a couple of weeks after her surgery what I thought was a discolaration on her belly and I didn't think much of it. But I've noticed more lately that it looks like she has a funny looking rash that almost looks like specks of dirt. When I got her groomed last week the groomer suggested I take Muffin to the vet because she thought it looked like some sort of a dermatitis. She hasn't been itching, scratching or licking it at all. I'm not quite sure if I should take her to the vet or not. In the 5 months that I've had her I've already spent a bundle at the vet (not that I wouldn't spend my last dime on her) for ear mites plus medication, cocsidia plus medication and spaying plus medication.
I don't want to be one of those mommies who runs to the vet for every little thing but I don't want to ignore a problem either. Anybody have any suggestions?
