Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, i agree, many of these are However this one is really porous, so simple to clean. All pet waste flows into a bottom chamber where a bio+enzyme breaks down the waste and eliminates odor. To clean, once a week, you put down the cover, take it to your toilet and open the drain valve. Just in case your pup was sick, the mat is machine washable. Some of the others are grass like mats that sit down in the actual urine (yuck, sorry), or the turf resembles grass blades, and pet waste sticks to it.
I don't share this to sell you on an indoor dog toilet, but just to point out the difference. I always feel bad around the holiday season, as weather turns cool, we see more and more people bring their dogs to shelters, and it just breaks my heart. I just want to let people know there are housebreaking options, and remove the barriers to pet adoption. Your feedback is very appreciated.
