You still have to be very careful though...I live in MO too and Missouri (along with pennsylvania) are practically crawling with puppy mills. Remember to ask the breeder what age your pup is next time you talk to her, just to make sure.
By "registered with my state" did you mean registered by AKC or USDA or...?
What breeder are you getting her from? Is it yorkies-playhouse.com..? The kennels in the background of your profile pic look like the ones shown on the website.
