My little female has started having strong eating preferences. She's more comfortable with some distance between herself and her brothers. We've tried various placements and one that none of them objects to is eating in his/her kennel, as Nancy1999 suggested. Sort of like having their own rooms, they seem relaxed when--even with the door open--they're in a familiar and comfy space. It may help, too, that their kennels are near where we are so they can feel we're "on the lookout" while they're focused on eating.
