My Teddy Bear had liver shunt surgery in Feb. 2013. A liver diet was not advised for him. I was told to feed moderate protein. He had recurring GI issues which they believe to be IBD and he was put on Hills Z/D. He eats a combination of canned and kibble. He is doing very well on this diet.
I personally don't wrap myself up in ingredients especially with the RX foods. I have used multiple RX foods over the years with great success. Hill's,Purina and RC RX foods. |
