I would take a sample to your vet, show the vet how poop comes out. Make sure you tell vet or tech the poop looks like it's braided, other wise they will mush it up and check it for parasites. I went through this several months ago. Took in a poo sample so the tech could see what the poop looked like, however, I didn't know they were mushing it up. 3 samples over a period of 6 weeks. I was sitting in the waiting room, my vet was about to enter another exam room, she asked me how Cody was doing, I said the same, no change, she asked how was his poop I said the same, she asked how does it look, I said the same, she said what does it look like, I said the same as the last 3 samples I bought in, she asked again, what does it look like, I got annoyed and said the same, it looks like earth worms, just as the last the 3 samples I have bought in, one word came out of her mouth, "Stricture" my dog under went surgery the next day. Here I thought the tech was telling my vet what shape, form the poop looked like, that was not the case, the tech was mushing it up and checking for other what ever's. That's why it's important when you hand over the poop tell them or your vet you want them to SEE how the poo is shaped / formed. Good luck.
