Four years ago my sweet long hired chi had lymphoma. I had rescued her a year before & she a just 4 years old. We went with prednisone & she lived a few more months before I brought her to the vet for her final visit. I never regretted going that route with my sweet baby.
My final 2 months with Roxy were filled with love. When she could no longer climb the stairs to get onto the bed I spent the last 6 weeks sleeping on the floor on an air mattress with her. She loved her food & near the end I gave her the "best" foods I could think of: ice cream & liverwurst made her very happy.
I do remember someone here on YT about a year ago choosing to do chemo & her dog died within about a week or 2 of starting the chemo.
Good luck to you & Bisquit. |
