I know what you are saying, but although I feel the xray must be done, the ultrasound at this point is not medically necessary. I don't mind helping out, but the reason I was at vet was with an owner relinquishment that has mammary cancer so the bill is going to be close to $1000.00, taking her in Monday at 7:30 a.m. so I am tapped out this week just to keep her from wondering. She is being treated like she is pregnant so like the vet said she may gain a little weight from the puppy food, but no real harm done.
