First I want to say how sorry I am for you I know your heart is breaking. I'm also so sorry for your pup that he is ill, liver shunt is quite serious.
I also want to point out how selfless and wonderful your act of love really is, it can not be easy to make this decision and reaching out to the "outside" for help so that your pup has been afforded every possible chance of survival is incredibly humane and kind, you must love Choco very much.
I'm sure there will be folks around to link you with the information you need. Please be patient and tenacious in checking this thread.
I wish your pup much luck as he fights this illness and I hope that you are able to accept that you are doing the RIGHT thing for this baby, your doing EVERYTHING right.
