 Hoping to find some support
Hello, I'm new to this forum and was hoping to find some support. I just bought a yorkie Sunday evening. I was told he was 10 weeks old however when I went to pick him up he clearly was way younger. The lady who was selling him was adamant that he was 10 weeks. Knowing he was going to be sold regardless I bought him. I took him to the vet the very next day and found out he was more like 4 weeks. I feel terrible that the seller is selling these puppies so young but happy he is with me and I can take care of him. I have him on the milk supplement about every 3-4 hours along with small portions of royal canine puppy weaning canned food. I also have given him liquid vitamins and plenty of rest...everything the vet has recommended to do. He willbe going back for a follow up in 2 weeks. Does anyone have any additional advise...other than the obvious that he shouldn't have been taken away from his mother yet. Thanks for any help. |
