I feed Fromm and the company says you can change flavors among their 4 Star line. However, the ingredients are very different. Some dogs do fine eating all of the flavors, but others do not.
My boys have been eating the same flavor of the same brand for years.
I know the belief is that you should change protein sources to avoid allergies. My boys are 5 and 6 years old and have had chicken based meals every day of their lives. No allergy to chicken here or allergies at all.
Same with my previous dogs. They ate the same thing every day of their very long lives.
