I was wrong when I posted Zanesville, PA it is Zanesville, OH which is actually 5.5 hours from me not 3.
I feel like I should just get it out of my head but I cannot. I told them that I cannot make the trip until the weekend and if she is still available then I would try to do that.

I would just be extremely careful....there are a lot of scammers on Craigslist--so make your decision with not only your heart but with also your brain. Do you mind PMing me the Craiglist link so I can look at the ad to see if there are any red flags? Was she trying to rehome the puppy or was she selling it as a breeder?
