Sometimes when a dog get sick, it thinks the food it was eating caused the illness and will refuse the food even though it had nothing to do with the feels of illness. I wonder if she was experiencing discomfort from having a heat? I would get her fixed as soon as possible, there may be more going on that you aren't aware of. Also, it one thing when a dog turns its nose up at kibble, but when it won't eat home cooked, I'd be worried. It's important that you tell your vet that.
