Well congrats to you and your gal! Showing a gal is one thing, breeding is quite another. If you are enjoying the show ring and want to continue, just make sure you know how to recognize heats, and keep her safe from mating at all times.


There is a lot of growing up a young puppy needs to do, and also many health clearances as well. Her first one should be a BAT test at 16wks old and then repeat at 6months old. This is a special liver function test. Irrespective of showing her or not, this is a good test to do for all Yorkies.
As you know LS and or MVD is quite prevalent in the breed.
