I recently purchased a puppy from Deb Sillers of Amazing Yorkies and can attest to how wonderful she is. I love my new little girl. I drove 12 hours to meet Deb and she opened up her home to me and spent hours with me showing me her dogs and talking about everything I needed to know including introducing me to the exciting arena of dog showing. That is my next adventure. In the meantime, Deb continues to keep in touch with me about our shared girl. I have also been in extensive conversations with a breeder named Debbie Ray of Sumtoi Yorkies from Silverton, OR. It was so obvious that she has a supreme love for the breed and she opened up her heart to me about all things yorkie. While I would never purchase a puppy without actually meeting her in person, I had a strong instinct that she was an excellent breeder. I plan to stay in touch with her also as I get further involved in this whole dog show business. I will be needing all the advice I can get. |
