Thanks Ann, I am still debating if I want to give her shots. I know she will hate them. I believe the vet said you start with 12 shots over 2 months and then taper back. The cost is $75.00 to $80 per bottle, which contains 14 shots. He said some people give them to their dog, just under the skin, and some bring them in for the vet to do the shots. Either way, I just don't know about giving her all these shots. And if this is a new drug, I am not crazy about using Daisy as a guinea pig. This is a new vet (we quit our old vet because the wait time for an appointment is now at a week), and I am not sure if he is a person who is over treating her. I feel like starting on lower doses of med is the way to go, then increasing them as needed.
