 Asthma? Or something else?
When Izzy gets excited on walks and pulls towards something a lot of times she makes this weird loud sound like she cant get air when she breathes in. i make her stop and she calms down right away and stops breathing like that immediately. sometimes she goes right back to it if she's still fixated on whatever she's excited about. I repeat the process and it stops immediately. i walk her with a harness, never with a collar. She doesn't do it when she runs. Only when she's straining to get to something or when she' overly excited. I've heard other dogs do it, and the owners usually claimed they have asthma. But that just seems weird to me, since asthma usually requires an inhaler or some thing to get it to subside. No ones ever pulled out an inhaler for their dog yet. |
