Chicken bones are said to possibly splinter when eaten by a dog and consequently cause serious problems going through the digestive tract. However, I gave several dogs I had, before I was old enough to know better, chicken bones to eat all the time (I was a pre-teen at the time). Luckily, there were no noticeable negative side effects. I know now however that chicken bones are a big no-no. |
