Mine are both awake far more than I thought they would be. They do take quite a few naps.... But they also roam about a fair bit
They hear every noise outside and stand guard. I live in a very small condo complex (6 condos and only 2 are occupied) but a few dozen people a day walk by on the sidewalk out front with their pooches
My next camera in the very near future will be equipped with 2 way audio!
