I can't really fault this guy with a blanket statement. He was following protocol, from what I can tell. What I *do* fault him with is he apparently WAS feeling run down/fatigue in the days before he spiked his fever. In my opinion, once he felt run down, he should've self-quarantined at that point - to wait out to see whether or not add'l symptoms would emerge.
Apparently 13% of ebola patients do *not* present with fever - which is scary, bc this means that people truly must be tuned in to their body's other less-obvious symptoms with ebola....and being "run down" would be one of those symptoms. This is where I think the doctor should've applied his knowledge of the larger symptom picture.
