I've had one true false pregnancy years and years ago. She went through labor, and actually delivered the water bags of phantom babies. Although I knew she wasn't bred, since she was contained and no male exposure at all. It was a crazy experience which I felt bad that she went through a mourning period since she had all that work and pain of labor and had not produced babies.
Mostly females are hormonal and may just produce milk, or stay swollen. I don't think it is anymore typical in a Yorkie as with any other breed.
