I don't know much about the comic book but my fiancé played a video game based on the TWD series and it was AMAZING..I sat there and watched him play the entire thing. The main character is a black man from Macon, Georgia who is in a police car at the time the zombie outbreak starts...cop crashes and he escapes to see the town is overrun...he meets up with an abandoned little girl named Clementine and from there the player is given many options of how the game can progress. It is extremely interesting because it is like the TV show in that your choices influence other characters..decide to kill/save people, where to go next, etc. so it really plays out all the psychological aspects of the show, but it's in your hands this time. The choices are permanent and affect the entire rest of the game. You can choose to be a good guy or bad guy and you can lead your group of survivors in different styles. Very intense to have to make the calls!!! I got really attached to the little girl Clementine and got emotional several times in the game, lol! |
