Thank you so much for that! That makes me feel so much better! It does get very annoying when he barks at her and I tell him to shhh be quiet and he will play a little calmer for awhile....she is a barker too! Is it bad to tell them to quit barking or to quit growling? I read it a lot that you are not supposed to tell them to quit growling because that is their warning sign for when they are about to attack?! Another thing is that sometimes when she gets close to him and he is not in the mood he will snarl and pull back his lips to show his teeth and he will flick his tongue in and out! I heard that this is aggression but I usually just pick her up and move her. But should I yell at him for showing this type of aggression? He does have rawhide chew toy aggression but I am working on that with him. He does drop his rawhide now into my hands but it takes him a couple of minutes. Any suggestions on the above reactions that he has to her?
