Maximo is absolutely correct. Now I don't know what vet offices are like in NYC but here in Toronto, if I have an emergency that fits into the hours my regular vet is open I simply show up as soon as they open, and say my dog needs to be seen NOW. If they can't or won't accomadate I am off to one of three ER hospitals in my city.


A vets job is to deal with emergencies and most especially for a regular client of theirs. Just a suggestion, hopefully it can work for you. You are the health care advocate for your pup....
