My baby has me at panic right now. last night at around midnight I had her in my lab and all of a sudden she threw up white foam which was very odd because I never seen anything like that come out her. I didnt think nothing of it because she had just finished fasting so much water. Well, next morning at around 7am I overheard her throwing up and woke to a mess . My bed had at least 4 mid big spot of vomit from her meal the night before I know it was her meal because brown. There was also this hugee vomit spot near my bed of her meal as well. Idk what happened to her. I did some research after cleaning and saw the same answer everywhere. Which was plain boiled chicken and lil of pepto so I did that after that. I gave her some and 30 later she threw it up undigested. Then at around 5pm I gave her chicken alone. And just now at 9pm she threw it up shes been very calm lately fighting her sleep alot and moving around laying flat here and there. I made an appointment with my vet for wed it was the soonest he had.
Im thinking of giving her an apple or banana baby compote. Would it be a good idea? Any suggestions ? Or idea of what she may have?. |
If I were you, I would tell my vet my dog needs to be seen before then....work her in! I pup that has been vomiting for 2+ days can be considered an emergency....they dehydrate and will go downhill rapidly. You dont want to end up in the emergency hospital in the middle of the night....that will cost you at least double what you would be paying if your own vet saw his own patient.
