Your baby will be in my thoughts and prayers for all to go smoothly on Friday. Handing them over to the vet isn't easy. I cry every time.

For post op: make sure the vet gives you a pain medication to give him at home. You will likely need an e-collar (cone) to keep him from licking his incision. An xpen or crate is helpful to keep him from being active when you can't supervise. The vet should also give you post-op instructions for care/restrictions on activity.
