While I can see the reasoning, it kind of perturbs me as well. I had a breeder turn me down because I have children. (Turned out to be a not so great breeder anyhow, so I dodged a bullet in that sense). Truth be told, it is a little annoying for people to assume that someone's dog or children are unruly. My kids are actually fantastic and super gentle with animals, and Sheldon ADORES them. Again, I understand the reasoning, but it still sucks to be on this end of it.
