I read some theories on whether zombies poop and the theory I like best is that they really don't eat that much, while they have this huge appetite to bite and devour things with their mouths, lots of it falls out of their mouths. As soon as the host dies, they lose interest and go off to devour someone else. The idea is that this virus uses their own rotting bodies as fuel, and that's what keeps them going not the food that they consume.
