I use to have them pop up in quite a few places after rain, but after digging out the soil a few inches under them they haven't come back at all in almost a year despite cooler temperatures and rain lately. But I still always do a morning tour around the yard for the first 3 days after rain to make sure, and Cook is always on a leash at night when she goes out to pee.
