Welcome to YT, my last girl was pure yorkie, AKC registered, as an adult she weighed in at 17 lbs. Beautiful sleek body. When I bought her she was huge, that was back in 1997 so I don't remember what her weight was, but she was BIG. Her size did not matter to me,she was gotten for my 8 y/o girl that had just lost her 2 sisters and was pining away, she was also the spoiled lil Diva and very bossy, reason I wanted this bigger yorkie. My vet asked me if she was a Silky because of her size, all I can say is her papers read Yorkie, and she lived up to all yorkie characteristics. She lived to be 17 y/o. She left me one year ago this past Oct. 1,2014. Size does not determine if they are full breed. I LOVED my big yorkie, she was solid, not tiny and frail that I had to worry about her jumping off sofa's or beds. I am sorry you did not get the wee little yorkie you had your heart set on, but you will not be disappointed with your lil Maximus, and you can always get that smaller one later on.
