So I'm a little bummed because I had my heart set on a small Yorkshire . We already love him so much but would like to know what he really is . Can someone help ?also he has floppy ears that only stood for 2 days when I shaved them .
Puppies can be out of standard and still be purebred, so him being a bit heavier could mean literally nothing. As far as ears, it's really kind of the same, lots of purebreds with floppy ears. Keeping them shaved (top third of the ear) can be helpful, taping can be helpful, and sometimes after teething is done, they'll pop up on their own.

All that said, welcome and enjoy your new baby
