Puppies are given a lot of latitude because they are puppies. As the baby puppy class is new to me, and I have not shown before in that class, I am not exactly sure what they will be judging on.


As this class the puppy can't earn points, the class is there to help a new puppy get acclimatized and yourself as well to the show environment and the ring.


Generally speaking though, the judge will look for attitude that is breed and age appropriate. Willingness to be examined, no growling, no biting, no excessive shying away from touch. Age appropriate gaiting, and then their structure.
