My Winston is only 3 and has lost 10 teeth yet has had four dentals in his lifetime. I'm using the petsmile toothpaste for him and healthy mouth water additive. Those products are VOHC accepted. I'm keeping ahead of any tartar forming, but he had his dental 3 months ago and will need dentals in the future.
