Depends on genetics. My boys are full brothers and had growth spurts all the way to 11 months. That is not typical, though. Usually they are full grown by 8 months.
Teddy was just under 6 pounds at 8 months and he is 9 pounds full grown. Some of that is muscle, which Yorkies tend to develop in their second year.
