i got my pup stitch a few years ago, my sister has 2 registered yorkies. i was looking to get a service dog as im a disabled veteran and something small wasnt what i was looking for when she had her first set of puppies. But as luck would have it my daughter fell in absolute love with the runt.

fast forward a couple years and my sister came to visit, i kept telling her the runt got big, but she didnt realize i meant 36.5lbs big. stitch is healthy but not overweight by my Vets statements. what worries me is if this could be a genetic disorder like gigantism or worse. i tried asking on another dog forum and tho i posted video and photos of her as a baby being black n tan n now blue where she was black as an adult, they basically flamed me n i just deleted the posts. the Vet says not to worry about it shes healthy, but over the last 2 months i began researching yorkies n cant find anything above 15lbs. yes she is full blooded, both parents are registered, yes she looks like a normal yorkie just ALOT bigger. altho i keep her body shaved for summer heat i can let it grow long or provide photos of when it was longer. other than that she was the runt except all her litter mates r normal sized. any info on possible causes or if i should be worried would be awesome. plz b4 anyone considers flaming me, i understand how ludicrous 36lbs sounds, i understand ppl stretch the truth online, but this is a real situation for me n i never had a dog below 100lbs till stitch, and im just looking for knowledge. thanks you to anyone that can help.....shawn
