First, I must ask. Do you know if your daughter currently has the time to devote herself to this dog? A lot of pups are put into shelters because the owner was not ready to take on the responsibility, and unfortunately, most of these come from surprises. If you know that she can properly devote enough time and love to the pup you are going to give her, then go ahead!

To look for a breeder, I would recommend checking the YTCA Breeder Referrals list. YTCA = Yorkshire Terrier Club of America.
